The past week has been all about evaluating the condition of the Revcon, ordering new parts and removing the kitchen interior
You can see here that the water heater has been causing water damage over the years. Someone at one point cut all the connections. Unfortunately one connection at the top of the heater allowed water to enter the heater and slowly leak out. Obviously this heater has to go. Tag on the heater listed: 7gal electric 110v heater. I took measurements HLW 14.250x18.5x14.5
This was the heater exchanger into the water heater. It basically worked by using the heat from the engine to keep water hot on long road trips. Technically its not really needed. This will most likely be tracked down to the engine and removed.
Another good reason to remove all the interior, you never know what your going to find. So far I have found: A black widow with a nest and a dead mouse
stove removed
Now that the kitchen sink and cabinets are removed I can see just how bad the storage housing really is. At first I thought it might be salvageable but that changed as soon as the insulation was removed.
The storage housing will be rebuilt |
Walls will need some serious help. |
