So that about covers everything. We are very excited to
have the opportunity to restore this awesome motorhome. Cheers to your next 15,424 days Revcon!
Just saw this, hope it's still in progress. I was employee #18 at Revcon, painted a bunch of these...and fell deeply in love with them. We own #71-0004 and have restored her to better than new. I want to change rears brakes to disc, so am looking forward to any tip from this blog!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking to restore a 73 Revcon that I bought and used in 1997. It's been sitting for 20 years.
DeleteI love these good ol' girls! Please keep us apprised of your progress! I'd like to meet up somewhere for a photo op when you get done. 'Rosebud' is always ready to go!
DeleteI have an 73 Revcon I'm thinking about restoring. It's been sitting for 20 years.
ReplyDeleteJust re viewed this post and was wondering how the resto is going. (That's a big list!)
ReplyDeleteWe're wanting to take a trip to eastern Canada this spring and would like to stop in to your place if you are anywhere near our route. Where are you folks located?

Thom, any luck with the rear disc conversion?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful looking Revcon. I've never seen one in person. I've seen pics of Revcon. I'd buy one if I had someone to share the experience and responsibilities that come with owning and operating a motorhome.
ReplyDeleteI hope you find a good one some day. They just need someone not afraid of maintenance and repairs as needed.
ReplyDeleteCheers.
I love the pics of this Revcon. Are there any more that can be shown? IMHO, the more pics that can be shown the better. I like seeing the exterior from every angle possible, every interior shot, including the instrument cluster, etc. :)
